How delightful to go marketing and return with a dozen fresh stems of springy tulips!
Have you noticed the behavior of fresh tulips in a vase... this poet stated it so wondrously...
"They grace my table sweetly as they stand so straight and tall
And then with time they curtsey and they take a humble fall
And then with time they curtsey and they take a humble fall
It’s like their bowing over to give their quiet nod
To their talented creator,…to the Great Almighty God"~ Linda Hogeland

Each one so alike, yet behaves so differently, even in the manner in which their tender petals capture the light....
It's no wonder bunnies gather around their draping beauty in springtime to deposit their seasonal treasures....brightly colored eggs eager to be plucked up by a precious little hand!
and I can hardly, wait!!!
"All that is sweet, delightful, and amiable in this world, in the serenity of the air, the fineness of seasons, the joy of light, the melody of sounds, the beauty of colors, the fragrance of smells, the splendor our precious stones, is nothing else but Heaven breaking through the veil of this world, manifesting itself in such a degree and darting forth in such variety so much of its own nature."- William Law

Beautiful arrangements and yes, it would be so nice to know Spring is here...but we're in for another storm tonight! P.S. Nice to meet you!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteYour tulips are delightful and beautiful! I bought some mini yellow daffodils and a plant called Campanula with small dainty purple and violet flowers; put them all in my kitchen window and, oh my! it looks like Easter!
ReplyDeleteLovely blooms. I played too. Mine are here and here.
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely! With all the white and pastels seen now, I really enjoy your use of darker warm tones that still say "spring"! Well done! Happy Tuesday from the enchanted oven.
